We’re about to have a baby, number two if you’re counting. We’re going the neo-traditional route in that we’re going to a hospital to have the baby. But we’re bringing some music with us to pass the time. I’m letting Georgette pick whatever she wants to bring, and in the stack right now is Richard Hawley‘s Coles Corner, the Trashcan Sinatra‘s Live at Fez, and Divine Comedy‘s Liberation.
Hopefully these a few others will help her get through delivery.
Richard Hawley is playing here in Seattle on the 20th of March. It’s one of only a handful of dates in the US. I’ve got my ticket and am really looking forward to finally seeing him live. He’s playing at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard.
I guess Neil Hannon has been busy recording his follow up to Absent Friends. Hopefully it will see the light of day this year.
And the Trashcan Sinatras have a new single out called wild mountainside and are working on a new full length as well.
