It was a great spring day here in Seattle. The sky had one big weird cloud that looked like some kind of smoke plume. Instead of the end of the world, it was just a some funky cloud formation.
We ended up taking a walk down to Freemont to show mom the sites, or at least the eccentricities of Freemont. We stopped at the ‘Waiting for the Interurban’ which has been moved while they redesign the traffic pattern approaching the Freemont Bridge. By the way, Freemont is the place that the Wedding Present used as the cover of their last album Take Fountain. The photo on their home page was also taken from Freemont. Standing at the location of where Peet’s Coffee is.
