Solo Britt

You’ve likely heard that there is a new Spoon album on the way and that it’s called Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, and that they’re playing Sasquatch, and that they’ve been hanging out with Falva Flav, and that Jon Brion produced one of the songs on the new record.  You may not have heard that Spoon front man Britt Daniel will be doing a solo gig at the Crocodile on May 7 for a Muscular Dystrophy benefit.  This info comes courtesy of Thus Spake Drake

Seeing Britt solo you will likely get a cover song or two, (when I saw him a few years back he threw in an exellent Julian Cope cover, Up-Wards at 45°), a boom box backing him up on some songs, and of course Spoon songs done solo and for a good cause.
